Woody Durham’s voice now instructing others about his rare disease

Primary progressive aphasia is a rare brain disorder that affects speech, and it can take years to get a proper diagnosis. Two years ago, UNC play-by-play man Woody Durham, who has one of the Triangle’s most recognizable voices, learned he had PPA. Durham spent 40 years providing the soundtrack to UNC’s most memorable sports moments.
