Woman sexually assaulted by man who gave her a ride, Fayetteville police say

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) – A 33-year-old told Fayetteville police she was sexually assaulted Thursday after getting in a vehicle with an unknown man.
The victim was walking in the area of Boone Trail and Owen Drive in the early morning hours when the suspect picked her up.
The suspect then drove her down an unknown dirt road off Cedar Creek Road and sexually assaulted her, police said.
Police described the suspect as standing around 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing around 130 pounds. He is bald with no facial hair and was wearing a white baseball cap.
The suspect was also said to have a heavy Jamaican or African accent.
Police said the suspect was driving a small, white, four-door car.
The victim told police the suspect was armed with a small silver pistol.
