Woman offered sex to undercover officer in Fayetteville, officials say
FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) — A homeless woman offered sex to an undercover police officer in exchange for money in Fayetteville, Cumberland County officials say.
The incident happened Monday in downtown Fayetteville when the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office conducted “a prostitution deterrence operation,” officials said in a press release.
During the operation, a woman “proposed sexual favors to an undercover officer in exchange for money,” deputies said.
Samantha Marie Stanfill was charged with Felony Solicitation.
Detectives said Stanfill has a previous conviction of solicitation in December of 2015.
Stanfill is being held in the Cumberland County Jail under a $1000 secured bond.
