Unlicensed juvenile driver crashes car into Raleigh motel

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — A juvenile driver crashed a car into a Motel 6 on Sunday morning, officials said.

The incident was reported around 10:30 a.m. at the Motel 6 at 2641 Appliance Court, which is near Interstate 440 and Capital Boulevard/U.S. 401.

Damage to a motel room was extensive with the far interior wall smashed allowing a clear view into the motel room on the other side of the building.

The young driver who wrecked did not have a driver’s license, police said.

No one was in the room at the time and the young driver was not injured.
