Truck seized, driver found in hit-and-run that killed young man in Moore County

WEST END, N.C. (WNCN) — The truck and suspected driver have been found in a hit and run accident that killed a 23 year old West End man on Friday, according to the NC State Highway Patrol.

The incident happened before students had arrived at the school.
Sergeant Fortner with the Aberdeen office of the NC State Highway Patrol confirmed that the truck and driver wanted in connection with this incident have been located, the Aberdeen Times reported.
The truck has been seized and the incident remains under investigation. No charges have been filed at this point and the Highway Patrol has not released the identification of the suspected
