Tickets for Fort Bragg MLB game to go on sale Tuesday

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) – Tickets for the Major League Baseball game between the Atlanta Braves and Miami Marlins to be held in Fayetteville in July will go on sale Tuesday for Department of Defense ID cardholders.
Major League Baseball is currently working to finish up construction on a new temporary ball park being set up on Pope Army Airfield.
The game will be held July 3 at 8 p.m. Ticket registration will be open May 31-June 12 to Department of Defense ID cardholders 18 years of age and older.
It will be “a first-of-its-kind regular season game in celebration of the nation’s Service members at Fort Bragg,” MLB officials said.
A new 12,500-capacity ballpark constructed by MLB and the MLB Players Association will host the “Fort Bragg Game” during the installation’s annual Fourth of July festivities.
