Durham, NC – The Friends of the Durham Library’s new location, Books Among Friends, is having a three-day book sale Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, September 8 – 10. Books Among Friends is located inside Northgate, 1058 W Club Blvd, Suite 252, Durham, NC 27701. If you enter the mall through Sears, Books Among Friends is immediately on your right.

On Friday, September 8 from 4 to 7 p.m. the book sale is open to Friends Members only. Friends memberships will be for sale at the door. A one year adult membership is $15. On Saturday and Sunday, September 9 and 10, the book sale is open to the public. On Saturday, September 9 the book sale is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. On Sunday, September 10 there is a $10 bag sale from 1 to 4 p.m. Bring along your friends and neighbors and come ready to buy lots of books. Proceeds from the sale help fund materials, services, and programs at Durham County Library.

Explore the new space and the array of gently used books and media for sale, including popular titles, DVDs, audiobooks, and rare books. Unless otherwise marked, hardbacks are $3, trade paperbacks and other larger paperbacks are $2 and mass market paperbacks are $1. Everything else is priced as marked.

The Friends of the Durham Library, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to fostering the goals of Durham County Library.
