Shoplifter cuts employee at Triangle Town Center in Raleigh, police say

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — A worker was cut when confronting a shoplifter at a store in northeast Raleigh on Saturday afternoon, officials said.
The incident happened around 3:20 p.m. at the Triangle Town Center, Raleigh Police said.
The incident was sparked after a shoplifter was noticed in one of the stores – although police did not say which store.
A worker at the store went outside to confront the shoplifter and was cut by the shoplifter, police said.
Police said that the cut did not appear to be life threatening.
No details about a suspect being caught or arrested were immediately available.
