NC fire crews save man who was trapped under overturned tractor

HARRISBURG, N.C. (WNCN) — Fire and rescue crews saved a man who was trapped under an overturned farm tractor near Charlotte on Saturday afternoon.
CLICK TO VIEW 7 PHOTOS FROM THE RESCUE SCENEThe incident was reported around 3:20 p.m. in the 6800 block of Thistle Down Drive, according to the Harrisburg Fire Department.
Crews responded and found a farm tractor that was overturned mid-way down a steep embankment.
Rescuers used wooden “cribbing” to elevate the overturned tractor and then freed the man, according to the Harrisburg Fire Department.
The rescue took nearly 30 minutes, fire officials said.
The victim was treated on the scene and refused to go to a hospital.
Harrisburg Fire, Flowes Store Volunteer Fire and the Concord Fire Department responded to the incident.
