Man shot ‘multiple times’ at Goldsboro convenience store

GOLDSBORO, N.C. (WNCN) — A man was shot several times at a convenience store in Goldsboro early Sunday morning, police say.
The incident happened around 12:15 a.m. at Donel’s convenience store, 518 East Elm Street in Goldsboro, police said.
The victim, Versean Jenkins, “was shot multiple times,” according to an email from Goldsboro police.
Jenkins was transported to Wayne Memorial Hospital and then transferred to Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.
