Durham County Library Launches Digital Branching Out
Durham, NC – Durham County Library is proud to launch the first fully digital issue of Branching Out, the library’s long-standing publication featuring free programs for children and teens at Durham County Library locations. Now, the publication is available online only, at http://durhamcountylibrary.org/BranchingOut/.
Peruse the searchable children’s calendar for Storytimes and other events, check out reading lists especially for kids, find fun and helpful links, and explore our Online Storytime feature, wherein Durham County Library’s children’s librarians share some of their favorite children’s books aloud.
Click over to the teen side of Branching Out for a full list of exciting teen events, find useful links to help with homework and future planning, read about teen-related topics on health and social issues and current events, learn how to get involved in your community, and find your next literary adventure by exploring our reading lists.
While past editions of Branching Out only highlighted some of the library’s many program offerings, the new digital format features a full events calendar and program descriptions for children’s and teen programming hosted by Durham County Library.
