Child hurt when minivan driver crashes into his own apartment, Raleigh police say

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — A child was hurt when a minivan driver crashed into his own apartment in Raleigh on Monday night, police say.
The incident happened around 10:20 p.m. at 1147 Clanton Street, Raleigh police said.
The incident happened when a man went outside to move a minivan and somehow lost control. The van rolled down a hill and into an apartment building where the van’s driver lives, according to Raleigh police.
The van was removed around 11 p.m., but a large hole was left in a brick wall exposing what appeared to be a living room of an apartment.
The child who was injured was in the apartment when the crash happened. It’s unclear what injuries the child in the apartment suffered, but police said the child is expected to be OK.
The driver will be cited in the incident. City officials were expected to arrive and inspect the apartment to make sure
