54 arrested in South Carolina prostitution sting

SIMPSONVILLE, S.C. (WSPA) – A total of 54 people were arrested after a two-day prostitution sting in the Simpsonville area.
Simpsonville Police said undercover officers used social media sites to find prostitutes and to advertise sex for money as part of “Operation Good Time.”

Twenty-eight prostitutes and 26 men soliciting prostitutes were arrested on 64 different charges including 11 for drugs and one for a firearm.
In addition, eight people had outstanding arrest warrants. Police said it is believed this is the latest prostitution bust in the history of Simpsonville.
The Greenville City Police Department assisted with the arrests.
