37th edition of Artsplosure underway in Raleigh

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) – Artsplosure, also known as the Raleigh Arts Festival, is underway in downtown Raleigh throughout the weekend for the 37th edition of the event.
Artsplosure will run for three days in downtown Raleigh. It began at 11 a.m. Friday and will run through 6 p.m. on Sunday, May 22.
The Art Market and City Plaza Main Stage will be on Fayetteville Street while Moore Square will feature music on the Park Stage, as well as Kidsplosure, Art Putt mini golf and other interactive fun and games on Saturday and Sunday.
The Art Market features around 200 visual artists from across the state, as well as the whole country, who will sell their jewelry, works of painting, fiber arts, metal and more. New in 2016 are “Artlets” which will feature interactive dance, music and theatre performances at four locations on Hargett, Martin, Morgan and Fayetteville streets. Visitors will also be able
