2-year-old boy’s death is a homicide, Raleigh police say

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — Raleigh Police said Saturday afternoon that the death of a 2-year-old boy on Thursday is a homicide.
The incident was reported just before 2 p.m. Thursday, when Raleigh police officers were dispatched to a “code blue” call at a home in the 5200 block of Somerset Mill Lane.
On Saturday, police released a short statement saying the death of the boy was a homicide.
“The death has been determined to be a homicide. Follow-up investigative work remains underway. Charges have not yet been filed,” police said in a press release.

A call log from the Raleigh Police showed it was the 10th time police had been called to that address since the start of 2014.
