12 illegally in the country accused of fraudulent use of identity

JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) — Twelve immigrants in the country illegally are behind bars for fraudulent use of identity and violations of the Mississippi Employment Protection Act.
Attorney General Jim Hood said the dozen worked at a Flora-based construction company.
They were taken into custody at job sites in Jackson following an investigation by the Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Division, as part of the federal Homeland Security Investigations Task Force.
The 12, who were employed by Bonds and Associates, were booked into the Madison County Jail. They are each charged with one count of fraudulent use of identity and one count of violating the Mississippi Employment Protection Act.
